It was just an appropriate option for a weekend getaway in Stockport with outstanding value. The staff behind the bar were lovely and worked hard under tough conditions. Make sure to bring your own toiletries.

had a nice stay at the britannia hotel, the staff were really friendly and helped me with everything i needed. the room was neat and tidy, bed was comfy and clean with nice crisp linens. breakfast was decent too, plenty to choose from. the bar area had good vibes and the location was super handy for getting around.
the decor is kinda outdated and could use some sprucing up. The walls are thin, i could hear the neighbors pretty well.

The friendly staff made my late-night check-in smooth, but the outdated decor left a lot to be desired. An unfortunate smell in the lift detracted from the overall experience.

Had a great time with friends! We explored an open-air theatre and enjoyed trails through beautiful parkland. The on-site health club was a big plus for unwinding after our adventures. it's a solid spot for a group getaway with decent amenities.
The room was uncomfortably hot and we couldn't open the window—definitely an issue to keep in mind.

the staff were super friendly and welcoming, made us feel right at home. rooms were clean and had all the basics we needed. The bar food was pretty good for the price. the spa area looked nice but i didn’t get a chance to use it. also, it was great having free parking right by the hotel. honestly, i was pleasantly surprised by the overall vibe and cleanliness!
the decor is kinda tired and the lift was slow, which was annoying. also, the breakfast could have had a bit more flavor.

Not what I expected!
This place feels super old and kind of dingy. We got a room with a major damp patch and mold in the bathroom. The lift noise kept us awake all night! Breakfast was pricey and served cold way too quick. On the bright side, the sheets were clean and the bar area had a nice vibe.

Needs a serious upgrade
The hotel feels kinda dated and honestly, it's seen better days. The bar area is decent though, and the staff there were nice. My room? Not the best, the bathroom had some issues, like a broken toilet seat. the night receptionist was pretty rude, which put a damper on things.
